Kalonice Ref Sheet

Well ... I hated the old Kalonice so ... meet the re-vamp that has been changed COMPLETELY

Considering her original was a rip off design (I feel really sick about that now >.>) I did need to change alot about her, so when the idea of this popped int my head, I knew it was now hers

I haven't drawn canines in ... way to long, so I used this ref as a guideline, and did what I needed to it ^^

Main features;
Her mask markings. They are symmetrical, but I failed drawing them.
Her mask - Made because I've been looking at Masquerade stuff lately, and it just seemed right
Sharp claws
Long Tail(s) - Can have up to 9 tails, depending on her mood. Only the center tail as the white undermarking.
Tri-colours body, with markings
Studded colour, that holds a glowing key
Her left ear has a stud earring, with a fiery feather hanging from it.
Long canine teeth (Since I didn't draw any open mouthed images)

Bio:
Kalonice was born into a magical family, she had many sibling and parents that made sure each child followed their destinies. Sadly for Kalonice, her birth was one that wasn't expected, or wanted. She was an outcast among her family, since she had no special powers that were recognizable, the only thing that confused them was her nine tails. She envied her family, and they all often broke out into fights that left both sides wounded. Her ribbon-like tails were often the most scared since she still hand't gain full control of them. Ashamed of her, a mask was formed to his her face from the family, so they didn't need to bear with the resemblance she had to them.

As time went on, her jet black fur became to change colour, with a clear white pattern falling over her much like her fathers coat. As her family watched her grow with curious eyes her red makings began to show, proving to her family she was just at magical as them. They began to treat her like family, but her parents were still unsure as to what power she would posses. Her brothers and sisters took the magic of the many elements of their planet, with her parents being the soul of their home.

She often strayed from her family to explore the land and all the creatures that inhabited it, she enjoyed being along in these places soaking in everything that surrounded her. One day on her travels she stumbled across a yellow glow in one of the waters, bold and curious she waded into the water to inspect this mystery. The light folded around her, lifting her into the air as she struggled to escape, she bit and clawed at the beams furious that it was doing this to her.

She gave up as the light tightened around her, growling her only defense as she began to descend back into the waters. Once back on all fours she jumped back into a defensive pose, her tails whipping around her with anger. The light got smaller and smaller, and floated toward her like a fairy dancing around. Confused she stopped growling but stared as it got closer. Taking a step back she stood tall, baring her teeth in a warning. Part of the light shot into her chest, sprouting a lion-shaped key and collar she jumped in surprise unsure of what to do.

The light dropped to the floor, expanding until a dark hole with a yellow lining around the edge was before her, tempting her in with a melodic sound. She found herself walking into it, falling deeper and deeper, terrified she reached out to find nothing to grip onto before everything went black. She saw nothing, felt nothing. Fear gripped her entire body as she fell further into the abyss. She closed her eyes tight, ready for what was to come.

Soon with a thud she landed, her eyes snapped open to find herself lying on green grass as a cool breeze washed over her, she shook her head and yawned, standing slowly she look down to find her collar fine and the key aglow with magic. She smiled and walked along the grass to wherever she felt. Her memories of home all but lost when she came into this new world. She bent down to bring the key to her mouth, drawing a circle in the air she walked into another dark abyss, her key to all worlds taking her on her destiny.
